Balford Ukraine – a Ukrainian hydropower developer
Is there a particular sector in Norway NOCON could provide some add-value, it might be hydropower.
Since the summer of 2023 NOCON has established relations with Balford Ukraine, with the aim of exploring and exploiting the potential for small and medium-sized hydropower within Ukraine.
It is no secret that the need for power and preferably - sustainable power, is increasing due to hostilities, but also to develop Ukraine’s economy and energy transition.
NOCON is involved in the project River Stryii, and will together with Balford push this project forward for construction.
The project of 3,4MW is ready to build.
Balford Ukraine LLC is creating an investment and environmental project for the construction of an innovative 2 MW HPP on the Stryi river, Dovhe-Hirsʹke village, Lviv region.
